💦 What does Trash Pandas actually do?
We’re Calgary’s wheelie bin cleaning experts. We blast your black, blue, and green bins with high-pressure, heated water and eco-friendly cleaners to sanitize, deodorize, and make them look (and smell) like new. We also offer a Curbside Concierge Service – we roll your bins to the curb and back for you. Trash day? Handled.
🗓️ How does the service work?
Easy peasy:
You book.
We show up. (No need to be home!)
We clean your bins with our self-sufficient trailer – no hookups needed!
We leave them sparkling.
On the day of your service, we do not schedule a specific time, but we’ll always come by after your bins have been collected the afternoon of bin day or morning after.
🧼 What’s included in a one-time cleaning?
Our one-time service includes cleaning for all 3 bins – black, green, and blue. We sanitize, deodorize, and do our best to restore them to near-new condition. Some permanent stains may remain, but we’ll give it our all.
🐾 Are there any situations where you won’t clean a bin?
Yes. For health and safety reasons, we cannot clean green bins that contain excessive unpackaged pet waste, bedding or kitty litter or bins that are still full of household garbage. Please make sure bins are mostly empty and ready to be cleaned!
🛢️ Will there be anything left in my bin after?
Sometimes, yes. A small bag of debris may be left in your bin – this is just gunk removed during cleaning or scooped out beforehand. It’s from your bins only and not cross-contaminated.
💧 What happens to the dirty water from my bins?
We take every drop of bin sludge with us. 🛻💦
All wastewater generated during your bin cleaning is fully contained in our mobile unit and safely transported for disposal in accordance with local municipal bylaws and environmental regulations.
We never dump wastewater on your property, street, or down storm drains. That gunk stays on board where it belongs.
🌧️ Any water you see on the ground? That’s just from rinsing the outside of your bins — clean, fresh water used to spray down the exterior. It’s no different (and no more harmful) than a bit of rainwater rolling off your bins on a wet day.
🌱 Are your products eco-friendly?
Absolutely. We use biodegradable, eco-conscious cleaners that disinfect and deodorize without harming the environment.
🔥 How do you clean so thoroughly?
Magic. Just kidding – we use high-pressure, heated water, eco-safe cleaning products, and a lot of elbow grease. It’s all done from our custom-built trailer – no need for your water or power.
🎨 Can you remove stains, paint, glue, or chemicals from inside the bin?
We’ll do our absolute best — but we can’t guarantee the removal of all stains, residue, or stuck-on materials like paint, glue, oil, construction materials (such as concrete or asphalt), or harsh chemicals.
These substances often bond permanently with the plastic, and require special solvents or scraping methods beyond what’s safe or appropriate for bin cleaning.
We’ll blast everything with high-pressure hot water and our eco-friendly cleaning solution, but some things are just too stubborn – even for a raccoon with a power washer. 💪🐼

That little sticker? It’s how we tag your bin as part of the Trash Pandas crew 🐼
We apply a durable Trash Pandas ID sticker so we can easily spot your bin for future cleanings – especially in neighborhoods where every bin looks like a clone.
🧼 These aren’t flimsy peel-and-falls – they’re built to withstand weather, wear, and wandering raccoons. They're not meant to come off easily because we want to make sure your bin stays on our radar.

📆 How often should I get my bins cleaned?
Most of our customers choose the Wheelie Clean Service – that’s monthly cleaning Spring through Fall (8 months if we're lucky) to keep things fresh and pest-free. But one-time cleanings are a great place to start!
💳 How do I pay?
Payment is due upon booking, either by:
Paying online at the time of booking, or
Paying the invoice emailed after we receive your booking request.
🧾 Can I get a receipt?
You bet! All bookings come with a digital receipt for your records.
